About Us

From humble beginnings our Marks Metal Technology company history.

In 1946 John Marks made a one-man metal shop in the barn on his family’s farm. His operation started out small working on sheet metal needs for ducting and flashings but had John’s integrity and quality-conscious mindset behind it. He slowly added equipment and adapted to the different needs of his customers. Before long, his company grew, and his sons continued in the family tradition of offering skillful, personalized metal fabrication.

We have continued to grow and respond to changes within our industry by investing in cutting edge technology and developing our expertise to encompass innovative processes and methods. We utilize advanced CAD software in programming, detail and design to improve efficiency and decrease waste. From our beginning as a tin shop to currently serving industries such as Infrastructure, Defense, Aerospace, Water Treatment, Petroleum/Chemical, Renewable Energy, Mining, Sand & Gravel, Precast Concrete, Medical Equipment, OEM Manufacturing, Repair & Maintenance and Food Processing Equipment.

Our 49,000 Sq. Ft. facility sits on 4 acres located in the heart of the Clackamas industrial area with easy access to I-205. Having so many complementary services, capabilities and processes in one place enables us to streamline your project with minimized production time and increased cost savings. We have you covered, if you are a “walk-in” customer needing one small art piece for your garden or a multi-national corporation needing a dependable supplier for ongoing parts production. Components, or entire projects--we do it all. Now in our third generation, we are a close-knit company and still have the same simple customer driven mindset of suppling personalized, high quality and cost-effective services.
